Barbara Skelton has drawn inspiration from the Art Nouveau period, from 1930-1950's nostalgia and from historical decorative art from around the world to produce the 'Amathusia' series of cross-stitch designs. (The word Amathusia is derived from the spot in Cyprus she has now escaped to!)
